Please consider using all-natural and organic soaps and toiletries for your baby to help prevent irritation now and future allergies and sensitivities. And, don't be afraid to forgo the baby tub (after consulting your professional health care practitioner). My daughter hated hers, so I just filled the big tub just an inch or two and, after my husband or other adult helper got us into the tub, we bathed together. It was very relaxing for both of us and much easier to clean her gently. Studies show babies need skin-to-skin contact and a bath is a very natural place to share some time with your baby.
