Traveling with Babies & Toddlers
I could write a saga on traveling with babies and toddlers if I ever have the time! For now, I've compiled a list of online resources to help make it fun and easy for you. Some quick hints that worked for me, if you breastfeed, I recommend learning to breastfeed your baby in the car seat for car trips. It's do-able while your baby is in a rear-facing car seat and it's a lot less uncomfortable than listening to junior scream the whole way. And when flying, make sure your baby is nursing during take off and landing to prevent ears popping. The ideal time to travel with babies is when they are 3 - 6 months when they are out of the newborn stage but still can't move on their own and you don't have lug around a ton of toys to keep them entertained.
