Please read these notices carefully before using Web Baby Shower. Your use of this site implies your acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not accept, do not use this site.

Users may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software, products or services obtained from this website without expressed, written consent from Snowboard Mommy Productions.
Use of this site implies your agreement to these terms:
WEB BABY SHOWER SERVICES PROVIDED "AS IS" WITH NO WARRANTY.
Web Baby Shower is meant for active, online participation.
- Web Baby Showers last until 31 days past the mother's estimated due date.
To keep everything lively and fresh, Web Baby Shower recommends starting a Web Baby Shower during the last trimester, but you can start one whenever you like.
- When you announce the baby's birth at Web Baby Shower your Web Baby Shower will remain active for at least one month from the date you announce the baby's birth. Depending on when the baby is born, this may mean that you get additional time if the baby is late or, if the baby is early, that your original expiration date remains intact. In either case, you will have at least one month's time to use the site after the baby is born.
- You are welcome and encouraged to have an online shower in addition to an in-person shower, but please do not use the site as an over-glorified party invitation.
- You are welcome to discuss in-person shower plans on this site, but please do not post any personal address or phone number information. This is for YOUR protection.
- Each Web Baby Shower is intended for exactly one expecting or one adopting couple (or single parent) only. You may not have a "combined" Web Baby Shower for more than one expecting/adopting mother or couple, nor for a group of expecting/adopting parents.
Fees & Cancellation
All setup fees must be paid for within two weeks of requesting a Web Baby Shower or the request will be canceled by Snowboard Mommy Productions.
Because Snowboard Mommy Productions begins providing service at registration, the set up fee is non-refundable.
A refund in the form of a Snowboard Mommy Productions Gift Certificate may be issued for Memory Book Graphic Design if the design service is cancelled before the Design Service has been fulfilled. Requests for refund on Gift Certficate will be reviewed on a case by case basis. If you cancel your Web Baby Shower prematurely, you must request a gift certficate refund for Memory Book Graphic Design services from Snowboard Mommy Productions directly.
Cancellation requests are subject to approval by the host and Snowboard Mommy Productions.
Length of Service
As stated above, each Web Baby Shower is given an expiration date that is approximately 31 days past the estimated due date. Snowboard Mommy Productions recommends starting a Web Baby Shower during the last trimester of pregnancy or once an adoption travel date has been confirmed, but you can start one whenever you like.
When you announce the baby's birth or official adoption at Web Baby Shower, your Web Baby Shower will remain active for at least one month from the date you announce the baby's birth/adoption. Depending on when the baby is born, this may mean that you get additional time if the baby is late or, if the baby is early, that your original expiration date remains intact. In either case, you will have at least one month's time to use the site after the baby is born/adopted.
ONCE YOUR WEB BABY SHOWER ENDS YOU WILL NO LONGER HAVE ACCESS TO IT AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE ANY CHANGES. Please make any changes to your Guest Book, Photos, Birthday Bets and so forth before your Web Baby Shower ends. Your Web Baby Shower's expiration date can be found in the Host Control Panel main page in the "Your Web Baby Shower Details" section. All showers are ended at 1:00 PM Pacific US & Canada on the expiration date.

Information on this site is intended for personal purposes only, for communication among friends and families of expecting, adopting and new parents only. Use of this information for any other purpose is strictly prohibited
Hosting And Participating In Web Baby Showers
All participation at Web Baby Shower (Guest Book messages, games, photos, videos, etc) must be made by individuals directly invited to each shower, must be related to the subject matter, and be in good taste. Particpation found to be vulgar or otherwise inappropriate by Snowboard Mommy Productions, in its sole discretion, will be removed without notice. Snowboard Mommy Productions reserves the right to refuse service at any time for any reason.
Web Baby Shower hosts also have the right, responsibility and ability to remove any undesired postings from their Web Baby Showers and to request that unwanted visitors be banned from the site. Please note that Hosts must use the "ban" feature responsibly and only in the cases of true abuse or unwanted guests. Blocking someone from using Web Baby Shower is a serious matter and must be treated with respect. Abuse of the "ban" feature can result in the termination of Web Baby Shower services without refund or notice.
In addition, if you submit pictures, other electronic media, poetry/prose or other writting for inclusion on a Web Baby Shower, whether by electronic or other means, you give permission for Snowboard Mommy Productions to use the materials on its website, and confirm that you have the authority to grant such permission to Snowboard Mommy Productions.
Children Under 13 Should Not Use Web Baby Shower
While Web Baby Shower is a family-friendly website, it is not intended for use by children under age 13. If you are under 13 years of age please have your parents or legal guardian participate on this site on your behalf.
Privacy
Any personal contact information (email addresses, IP addresses, phone numbers or addresses) is collected on Web Baby Shower for identification verification (when posting messages) or direct communication (newsletter, message board update notifications, online invitations, delivery of Keepsake products and services) purposes only. Your guest contact information (if any) will be used to invite guests to your online baby shower or birth announcements. At your request, Snowboard Mommy Productions may send reminders to your guests on your behalf. Snowboard Mommy Productions may also send a post-event email to you and your guests. Snowboard Mommy Productions does not sell, share or otherwise provide any host or guests' contact information with any third party without your consent, unless required by law, court order or as required to technically operate the service.
In order to ensure the integrity of the Web Baby Shower online service, it is necessary to at all times have a valid, full name and contact information for the host on file. It is also necessary to have a valid, full name for the expecting parents. If you have any questions or concerns about protecting the privacy of the host and/or expecting family, please contact Web Baby Shower FIRST before making any changes to the names involved on your Web Baby Shower. Please do not enter false names, screen names, or irrelevant data into any required name field or your Web Baby Shower may be terminated without notice and without refund.
If you have been invited to a Web Baby Shower, you may remove your email address from the guest list by using the link provided in the invitation email. Once your email address is removed from the guest list, the host will no longer be able to email you via the Web Baby Shower website and will not be able to re-list your email address for that shower/birth announcement. However, if you have more than one email address or if you are invited to another Web Baby Shower/Snowboard Mommy Productions event then it will be possible for a host to add you to the guest list again or contact you via Web Baby Shower. It is not possible for Snowboard Mommy Productions to prevent host(s) from contacting you via means outside of Web Baby Shower/Snowboard Mommy Productions and Snowboard Mommy Productions cannot be held responsible for such events.
Snowboard Mommy Productions closely monitors all activity on the Web Baby Shower website and provides the hosts with tools for removing any unwanted participation and banning any uninvited or abusive guests. Optional password and privacy protection are available at the host's discretion.
How Your Information Is Used At Web Baby Shower
Snowboard Mommy Productions may use the information you submit in these ways:
- As stated in the privacy notice above, Snowboard Mommy Productions uses email addresses and other contact information you submit for direct communication with you regarding your (or your guests') activity on this site.
- Messages you submit to Web Baby Shower are displayed on the site while the shower/announcement is active and are kept for six months after the shower's expiration for archival/keepsake purposes. One month from the expiration, messages are removed permanently from the system. Snowboard Mommy Productions reserves the right to use your message (in whole or part) for marketing purposes, but will do its best to contact you for explicit permission beforehand.
- Online Registry information will be used to link your shower/birth announcement to the family's online registries. See "Linking To Online Registries" below.
- IP addresses are collected to ensure the privacy and integrity of each Web Baby Shower and the integrity of the Web Baby Shower newsletter. IP addresses are only used when abuse of the site or newsletter is suspected to determine the origination of any offensive or otherwise inappropriate activity on the site or newsletter. In the cases of customer surveys and contests IP addresses are collected and used to ensure that only one unique response is allowed per person.
- Photos that are uploaded to Web Baby Shower are used only for the "Photo Album" of the specific Web Baby Shower they are uploaded to and for printing the related Keepsake Memory Album (if ordered). Photos are not used for any other purpose without obtaining prior permission and are completely removed from the Web Baby Shower system approximately one month after the Web Baby Shower ends.
- YouTube videos that are submitted for display at Web Baby Shower are displayed only for the duration of the online shower; Web Baby Shower does not host any videos directly but displays embedded videos from YouTube.com. Videos are not used for any other purpose without obtaining prior permission and are completely removed from the Web Baby Shower system upon termination of the Web Baby Shower service. It is the responsibility of the Web Baby Shower host and/or video owner to remove any videos from the YouTube website as well. YouTube.com has its own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service which must be adhered to by anyone displaying videos at Web Baby Shower. It is your responsibility to protect your privacy and the privacy of the expecting family when uploading videos to YouTube.
- Any contact information submitted by guests while playing the online games (Birthday BetsTM, matching, scramble) is shared with the host of the Web Baby Shower and used only to assist the host in contacting the winner of the game(s). Submitting your contact information while participating in the online games is optional. Snowboard Mommy Productions does not sell, share or otherwise provide any host or guests' contact information with any third party without your consent, unless required by law, court order or as required to technically operate the service.
Cookies
Snowboard Mommy Productions/Web Baby Shower may use cookies to deliver content specific to your interests, among other purposes. You can always choose not to accept cookies through your browser's preference options, but you may not be able to use some of the Web Baby Shower website services if you do not accept cookies. Memory Book Graphic Design Information
To help preserve the memories created at your Web Baby Shower, Snowboard Mommy Productions offers graphic design services for your Web Baby Shower and printing in conjunction with Shutterfly.com. You can order Memory Book Graphic Design when you register for your Web Baby Shower or at any time during your Web Baby Shower. Memory Book Graphic Design must be ordered within one month of when your Web Baby Shower expires; however, you will not have access to your Web Baby Shower data after the end date.
Memory Books are designed in a digital scrapbooking style that matches the design you chose for your Web Baby Shower. The Memory Book Graphic Design service includeds converting your Web Baby Shower materials to print quality format, designing the Memory Book, uploading the materials to Shutterfly.com and laying out a Shutterfly 8x8 photo book for you. Printing and shipping are additional costs which must be ordered directly from Shutterfly.com. For more information about Memory Book services, please see the Memory Book section of the Snowboard Mommy Productions shopping cart.
Memory Book Graphic Design services are provided "AS IS." Snowboard Mommy Productions is not responsible for errors in printing or damage caused during shipping.
Memory Book Graphic Design must be reserved within one month of the expiration of your Web Baby Shower; however you must make all desired changes and updates to your Web Baby Shower before it ends. Once your shower expires, the data will remain on file for month but you will not be able to access or make any changes to it.
ALL SALES FINAL. NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES ON FULFILLED MEMORY BOOK GRAPHIC DESIGN ORDERS. Refunds for Memory Book Graphic Design, in the form of a Snowboard Mommy Productions Gift Certficate, may be available if the Web Baby Shower service is cancelled prematurely. See "Fees and Cancellations" above.

Inactive Showers And Birth Announcements or Inappropriate Use
Snowboard Mommy Productions provides its services with the intention of active visitor particpation. If a Web Baby Shower is not used (eg: no photos or gift registries added, no customizations are made to the Web Baby Shower, no messages are posted) for a period of two weeks or more, Snowboard Mommy Productions reserves the right to remove the Web Baby Shower without notice. Furthermore, Web Baby Shower is a family-friendly site. Any online showers that contain inappropriate content or photos will be removed without notice. No refunds are given for online showers that are removed due to inactivity or other inappropriate use.
Using The Host Control Panel Guest List Manager
In order to facilitate sending email invitations and reminders to your guests, Web Baby Shower provides a Guest List Manager for each online celebration. This functionality is designed for the sole purpose of inviting guests to the Web Baby Shower website. In order to comply with Federal and local anti-spam regulations, emails sent from the Web Baby Shower website can ONLY promote the Web Baby Shower website. While you may alter the pre-written invitations to suit your own needs you MAY NOT include links to ANY OTHER WEBSITE in your messages. This policy is in accordance with the 2003 Federal "CAN SPAM" Act and any violations will result in the immediate termination of your online celebration without refund. Violating Federal law can lead to the complete shut down of this website which I cannot allow for obvious reasons. If you need to send your guests a link to another website, please use your personal email account and not your Web Baby Shower Guest List Manager.
In addition, and also due to circumstances beyond Snowboard Mommy Productions' / Web Baby Shower's control, there is a limit to the number of messages you can send to your Guest List using the Guest List Manager in any 48 hour period. You may add an unlimited number of guests to your Guest List, but you may only send five (5) messages to your list in any 48 hour period. This is to help reduce the total amount of email being sent from the Web Baby Shower website and thereby reduce the risk that Web Baby Shower gets blacklisted as a spammer, which is a very serious threat to the existance of small businesses like Web Baby Shower. Please plan accordingly when sending messages using the Web Baby Shower Guest List Manager.
Linking To Online Registries
One of the ways in which Snowboard Mommy Productions funds the Web Baby Shower service is to link to online registries and receive affiliate income for referring business to the online registry services. While Snowboard Mommy Productions is willing to link to online stores who do not have affiliate programs, Snowboard Mommy Productions will not allow users to divert potential affiliate income for Web Baby Shower by requesting "other registry" links that infringe upon Snowboard Mommy Productions's business affiliations.
While Snowboard Mommy Productions makes every effort to link to the correct registries each host and each visitor should ensure the accuracy of the online registry BEFORE making any purchases. Snowboard Mommy Productions cannot be held responsible for purchases made from incorrect registries or for gifts being refused, sent to the wrong recipients or that are otherwise incomplete or incorrect. Snowboard Mommy Productions is not responsible for content or accuracy of any of the online registries linked to from the Web Baby Shower website.
